Hero Boy Ron Chap 8

It landed a twenty-six feet away from the 3 combatants and the hatch opened up. Drakken ran out and fell to his knees. Shego followed helping Kim out of hatch.  She looked over and saw Ron.

“Thank goodness he’s okay.” Kim slid off of Shego and fell to the ground .

“Hey you gave us a scare once already don’t go doing it again.”

“What do you mean a ‘scare’ already” Ron asked.

“Whoa that was fast, long story just, look out ” Shego knocked Ron out of the way and crashed into the escape pod.

The second blast Ron into Drakken.

“Well looks like I get to keep my trophy after all.” Warhok gloated lifting Kim up by her ankles.

“Yes, she’ll look lovely stuffed next to the Basilisk skeleton.” Warmonga added as Worhok tossed Kim like a sack over his shoulder.

“Stoppable-San ”

“Sensei this isn’t a . . .“

“It is time to unleash your true power.”

“ I thought I had earlier?”

“Get up Stoppable-San.”

Ron rose to his feet and saw Kim’s body swaying in the wind as Warhok started for the pod.  “Yo Warhok ”

“You don’t know when to quit human.” Warhok responded tossing Kim aside. She rolled into a patch of flowers. One lone flower landing on her torso.  The image built up a fury in Stoppable’s body that he never felt before.

Warhok charged him, Ron caught him and threw him back at Warmonga and he landed at her feet. The two looked at each other then grinned.  Ron gave a finger taunt and the pair charged and attacked. Warhok swung a fierce punch at Ron’s head, he ducked and felt something flash around him and he hopped out of the way of Warmonga’s lance that was meant to slice him in two but cracked the earth where he had stood. He grabbed the lance and tossed Warmonga into Warhok and, they crashed ten feet away.  Ron rose into the air, shrapnel from the explosion circled around him as a blue monkey shape glow formed around him.
Warhok and Warmonga stared shocked at the site then picked themselves up, grabbed their weapons and attacked.  Ron dodged, quickly turned and grabbed the two and tossed them into the pod and locked the door.

Kim had come to and was stunned by the site as Ron lifted the pod and tossed it into space. He turned back and stretched his hand out to Kim and he helped her to her feet. Still shocked she fell into him and he caught her in a hug.

“What happened?” Drakken asked coming too.

“The Sidekick just stepped up, Monkey style.” Shego replied

“Monkey Style?”

“You had to see it.”

Ron lifted Kim up  in his arms. “You okay?”

“Yeah I just really want to rest.” Kim said and fell asleep in his arms.

“Are you kidding me, she scares us half to death on the way down, faints, now doses off. I swear. . . “

“Drew shut up.” Shego took Drakken aside and kissed him for a minute.

“So just clam up about what happened on the pod.”

“Yeah, he doesn’t need to know that, graduating is enough for him to worry about.” Shego replied resting her head on Drakken’s shoulder.

Epilogue

The Graduation Party.

“Kim this letter came for you and Ron after that, what  would you call a big muscle pound bug wearing green & black?”

“Don’t worry about it dad.” Kim said, “ Hey Ron we got a letter.”

“So what’s the deal?” Ron asked.

“Look at the return address” Kim answered handing him the envelope.

Ron took it and plopped down in a chair and Kim hopped into his lap as he opened it. Something fell out and Ron caught it and had Rufus hold it.

“Uh Kimmie-cub . . . “

“Leave them alone James.” Anne interrupted.

“Congratulations Kim & Ron.”

“That’s all it says?”  Ron asked puzzled.

Rufus handed Ron what fell out and he looked at it, smiled and showed Kim.

It was a photo of a family in an embrace, tears in their eyes but huge smiles on their faces.

“Well looks like everything worked out well for everybody.” Kim said looking at the photograph.

“Yeah, we save the world again. I’m a full fledged Monkey master, we graduated and an old friend of ours returned home to his family.” Ron said as Kim wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him but, the kiss didn’t last as Ron’s Lil sister dropped a little cake on the pair and just laughed.

“Hana ”

“Oh let her be Ron it’s just cake.”

“Hey there’s something on the back of the picture.” Ron said as Kim licked a little cake off his face.  

‘Sorry I told Hana to do that ’

“Oh really, wonder how he did that.” Ron pondered allowed.

“Ron, Don’t ruin the mood.” Kim shouted.

“Okay and you have cake on your nose.” Ron chuckled.

“So, you should see your face.” Kim giggled and nuzzled him, “It looks like this.” The two laughed and then Ron cleaned off Kim’s face and his own.

“So are we going to join the rest of the party or just stay here and snuggle?”

“Well Ron, I’d enjoy the snuggling but dad would flip if we didn’t show.” Kim replied and hopped to her feet.

“Then lets join the others.” Ron said getting up and wrapping an arm around Kim. She did the same and rested her head on his shoulder.

“I hope no ones freaking seeing Shego and Drakken together.” Kim said.

“Nah ” Kim and Ron laughed and headed to the patio.

Outside

“So the two lovebirds finally show.” Shego teased.

“Yeah missing the fun out here.” Drakken added and squeezed Shego.

“Uh Drew the sausage is burning..”

“I’m not that, oh you mean.” Drakken blushed and returned to grill duty.

“Mind out of the gutter Dr. D.” Ron laughed

“C’mon lets join Monique and the rest of the class down on the beach.” Kim laughed.

“You two behave now.”  

“Shego Hush ” Kim yelled as the two hopped down to the sand below.

“To think this wouldn’t be happening if we didn’t help Shego.” Drakken said embracing Shego.

“Yeah it feels good doing good and, whoever thought we’d hit if off.” Shego wrapped her arms around his neck and the two kissed, “Uh what are you looking for?”

“A moodulator just incase.” Drakken replied.

“Drew, it’s real okay I mean I’d never dress down this much in front of you if it wasn’t.”  Shego said pacing a hand on his cheek, “I love you.”

“I love you too.” Drakken replied taking her hand in his and kissing her again.

Back inside

“Too think Drew Lipsky finally gets a girlfriend.”

“What’s so funny about that James.” Ann asked hugging him from behind.

“I dunno maybe I’m just happy for him.”

“Yes and scared to death for our daughter.” Ann added.

“What, no, okay I am.”

“Jim she’s grown up, she can take care of herself and if she gets in trouble she’s got the best group of friends to be there for her.” Ann said and kissed his cheek, “Now, lets go and join Drew and Shego, I think they got distracted.” She turned to show her husband.

“AH MY STEAK ”
