A Clown comes to Middleton pt2

“Oh man gotta get to Ron before he sees the news.” Wade exclaimed as he piloted the Kimmunicator thru town.  He just watched a friend get kidnaped by a pair of psychos while sitting in front of his computer. “Wait a minute I’m just sitting here,” he got up and ran to his door. “ Mom I need you to run me over to Smarty-mart!”

“ I just started on Dinner!”

“Mom it’s important I gotta talk to Ron ASAP”

She turned from the stove to start to her son’s room and saw him standing in the kitchen, skin pale, hands clammy and shaky and his eyes filled with tears. “ Tell me what happened on the drive over.”

“Crazy kid but, tell me Mr. J why’d we take her with us?”

“You saw that gadget of hers didn’t you Harley,” Joker replied, “She’s either loaded or, somebody famous so, we can make some extra dough off of her.”

“Looks like a typical teenager to me.”  Harley said.

“Yeah and I’m a side show clown.” Joker snapped back.

“Oh I know you’re not pudding, OOH that looks like a good hideout!”  Harley yelled pointing at an old abandoned toon themed pizza shop.

“Hmm, could, we’ll stop and check it out.”

Over at Smarty Mart, we join Ron Stoppable and Steve, oops I mean Mr. Barkin on the job.  Barkin was in a lift and waiting on Ron to hand up part of a display to hang.

“Rufus, c’mon I gotta put this display together.”

“I’m still stunned they let you have him in the store since you’re on the job.”

“As long as he helps me work and doesn’t goof off everything’s okay Mr. Barkin.”

“Stoppable your wiz kid is here.”

“Wade here.  It must be the holo-Wade.”

“Holo Wade?”Barkin said puzzled.

“Ron you haven’t seen any news coverage have you?”

“Uh uh, been away from the electronics area today” he replied, “What’s up?”

Wade paused and tried to think of how to say it then looked up at Barkin.  He was looking away from the two on the floor with his jaw hanging from his skull. “Ronald tell the kid your not gonna flip out when you see what I’m seeing.”

Back at the new Hideout.

“Nice rope work Harl but why did you take off her show?”  

“Well, um, I thought we could make her laugh later”  

She smiled at him, he grinned back then, grabbed one of the tassels of her mask and pulled her close to him. “You just wanna ‘play’ with her a little don’t you pumpkin.” He tilted his head slighting and grinned

“Uh huh.” She replied with a playful smile.

“Wait till I do a little background check on her, see just who she really is, there’s gotta be some old papers in this place.”

“Okay,” she gave him a peck on the cheek.  He let her go and touched her check then left her alone with their captive “Now how soon are you gonna come to Red.”

Later at Smarty Mart.

“ I think he’s taking it better then I thought.” Barkin said

“I thought he would storm out of her and try to save her all alone.”

Ron was watching the coverage of the bank robbery, Kim being sucker punched and then taken away.  “KP, kidnaped by clowns!?”

“Not just any clowns kid.”

“Where’d the guy in the cape come from?” Barkin Whispered to wade.
